- The Supply Chain Controllership Analyst will be a key team member of the Technology & Operations (T&O) controllership team, supporting GE Aerospace's closing and reporting processes, including activities for an accelerated and simplified monthly close to deliver accurate, timely and GAAP-compliant financial information for use by internal and external stakeholders.

- Roles and Responsibilities
- + Provide timely and accurate financial reporting information for use within and outside of the GE Aerospace Supply Chain division + Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and support preparation of quarterly balance sheet review files, specifically consolidating and providing commentary for the core and affiliate Supply Chain balance sheets + Prepare account reconciliations in accordance with GE Aerospace account reconciliation standards + Provide operational accounting guidance to core and affiliate Supply Chain sites + Ensure internal controls over financial reporting are designed and operating effectively in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) + Drive consistent adherence to
US GAAP, GE
GAP, Government Accounting rules and GE Aerospace SOPs across the Supply Chain, consulting with the Supply Chain Controller as needed + Support adoption ofFLIGHT DECK
through consistent application of Lean principles- Required Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college + 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
- Desired Characteristics
- + Certified Public Accountant + Excellent teamwork skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members + Previous experience with inventory cost accounting + Strong analytical and organizational ability + Proven history of delivering results both consistently and timely + Ability to anticipate, communicate, report and resolve challenges + Internally motivated to enhance existing processes and drive results in a matrixed organization + Proven capability to execute several projects simultaneously The base pay range for this position is $ 86,000.
