Overview Grayland Group LLC is a specialist advisory firm engaging with government agencies, project sponsors and companies pursuing overseas opportunities in exploration, extraction, processing, refining, and the infrastructure that makes those projects work. Our work is decision-grade and timely: quickly screening memoranda on early-stage opportunities; initial assessments that test technical, commercial, and regulatory viability; full project evaluations with Terms of Reference and budgets that a client can put out to market; and targeted sector briefs on specific minerals, technologies, and supply chains. We are seeking a detail-oriented Mining Project Finance & Market Specialist to evaluate the commercial viability, offtake potential, financing readiness, and potential additional sources of financing for proposed projects. Responsibilities

▪ Assess financing readiness and bankability: capital structure, likely sources, and what each source will and will not underwrite for the project as presented.

▪ Build and review technical-economic models, including NPV and IRR analysis and sensitivity testing against downside price and cost cases.

▪ Analyze market dynamics, pricing environment, competitive landscape, and offtake credibility for the specific product form.

▪ Assess a project's contribution to supply-chain diversification and security for the markets our clients care about.

▪ Identify export and supply opportunity by category and estimate commercial value relative to the investment or assistance proposed.

▪ Build budgets for feasibility studies and technical assistance in client-required formats, with supporting narratives justifying labour categories, levels of effort, and travel.

▪ Prepare task completion schedules with realistic sequencing and dependencies.

▪ Contribute financial, market, and commercial components across all deliverable types.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

▪ M.S. in finance or economics, or equivalent professional standing.

▪ Minimum 12 years of professional experience.

▪ Demonstrated mining and metals project finance experience.

▪ Working familiarity with development finance institution and multilateral structuring, such as DFC, EXIM, IFC, MIGA, regional development banks, or export credit agencies.

▪ Strong technical-economic modeling capability, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.

▪ Critical minerals or metals market analysis experience, including offtake structures

▪ Legally authorized to work in the United States.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

▪ Experience preparing scopes of work and budgets for donor-funded or DFI-funded feasibility studies and technical assistance.

▪ Familiarity with stream and royalty structures, offtake-linked prepayment, and strategic or offtaker equity.

▪ Prior lender-side or investor-side diligence on mining transactions.

▪ Foreign language capability.
