What is this role and why does it exist? As our Finance & Operations Associate , you are the architect of our financial clarity. This isn't just about balancing ledgers, it's about ensuring the financial health of a fast-scaling organization so we can continue to impact lives. You will own the Accounts Receivable (AR) ecosystem and ensure our books are pristine. Your work provides the leadership team with the real-time insights necessary to make high-stakes decisions. You aren't just "doing the books"; you are maintaining the foundation that allows our entire team to innovate and grow.
What You'll Be Doing Owning Accounts Receivable:
Issuing invoices, tracking payments, and managing the lifecycle of overdue accounts with professional persistence.
Financial Integrity:
Recording and reconciling daily financial transactions and bank/credit card accounts with total precision.
Strategic Reporting:
Preparing monthly financial statements and reports that give leadership a clear window into our performance.
General Ledger Management:
Applying deep knowledge of journaling to maintain a flawless set of books.
Resource Management:
Assisting with budget tracking and expense management to ensure every dollar is working toward our mission.
System Optimization:
Collaborating with the operations team to refine financial workflows and improve internal compliance. ✅
Required Experience:
2+ years of professional bookkeeping and accounts receivable experience.
Tech Stack:
High proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Attention to
Detail:
An eagle eye for accuracy—you catch the things others miss.
Organization:
Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple financial priorities.
Discretion:
The ability to handle sensitive financial data with the utmost confidentiality.
Communication:
Clear, professional communication skills for both internal collaboration and external client follow-up. Nice to Have Experience working within a fast-growing online business or agency environment. Familiarity with digital payment platforms like Stripe or PayPal. A process-improvement mindset—you don't just follow the workflow; you find ways to make it better. Comfort working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams in a high-energy office setting.
Compensation & Perks Salary:
$58,000-$75,000/year (commensurate with experience).
