Job Description
Overall Assignment Description:
(U) Support the objectives of the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) to creat e, plan, and implement solutions for the improved processing, analysis, collection, organization, storage, management, retrieval, and use of financial data from across the enterprise. (U) Serves as a member of tea m that s upports the Financial Management Directorate and FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ): Assists the government with financial management operations . Monitors and coordinates program resource allocations . Supports Government representatives at meetings . Supports the GEO-F and ORBIT systems , including future enhancements . Understand the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Cycle . Develop and validate financial requirements .Duties include:
Coordinate with Program Managers to develop course objectives and training requirements. Produce, revise, and maintain all necessary training materials to include, but not limited to Instructor Guide, Training Manual, Reference Guide, Functional Handout, and course critique form, shall be available in electronic format, Portable Document Format (PDF), and paper forms. Instruct classes with varied time frames, curricula, and student knowledge levels ranging from beginner to expert . As requested, travel to other o ffices to provide onsite training to users in support of Momentum applications. Conduct training sessions in a variety of forums and locations Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all training equipment in an electronic format. Manage multiple schedules, milestones, and deadlines with little supervision. Develop and maintain relationships with the client and provide customer service. Work with the subject matter experts to define course content. Demonstrate correct training techniques as established by the client.Skills and Experience:
Required :
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in a business related field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics; or equivalent work experience
- 12 years of total experience in assessing federal financial business processes, developing financial systems options, and implementing system solution to include demonstrated experience with federal financial management including all aspects of programming, planning, budgeting, execution and/or accounting. In addition to that, specialized demonstrated experience in the following (total 8 years)
- 5 years demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and executing training specific to Momentum systems that may include agenda development, delivery and documentation update
- AND at least 3 years of experience presenting and developing training material for user groups ranging from zero experience to advanced users
Desired:
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience with federal financial business processes and key financial data, reports, and information.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience with federal financial management execution policies and business processes in the Intelligence Community and DoD
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience with the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) and financial reporting requirements.
