SPSS Political Science Full Job Description Overview:

Arete Consulting is seeking a Quantitative Mission Analysis Expert to lead quantitative analytical efforts used to assess mission performance, capability gaps, operational effectiveness, and future requirements. This individual applies statistical, econometric, operational research, and performance measurement techniques to support evidence-based decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute quantitative mission analyses. Develop performance measures, metrics, and forecasting models. Conduct statistical analyses and operational assessments. Analyze current and projected mission workloads, resource requirements, and capability gaps. Support prioritization of operational deficiencies and alternative solutions. Develop quantitative evidence supporting Mission Analysis Report findings. Create data visualizations, charts, and analytical products. Ensure quantitative methodologies are properly documented and defensible.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Economics, Operations Research, Political Science, Public Administration, or related quantitative discipline. Formal training in quantitative mission analysis methodologies. 5+ years conducting quantitative studies and operational analyses. Experience with performance measurement, statistical analysis, econometric studies, or operational modeling. Strong data analysis and technical writing skills. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting Coast Guard, DHS, DoD, or federal acquisition programs. Familiarity with mission performance assessment and capability gap analysis. Experience using statistical and analytical tools such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, or Power BI. •This position is contingent upon contract award•

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
