CoinUnited has been building since 2018 and our markets run around the clock. This is an in-office role on a small team where your models run in production and inform risk and dealing decisions. This role is based in our Miami office and forms part of our operations across Americas. You will work to Miami market hours and support the international order flow connected to the the USA market. About CoinUnited.io CoinUnited.io is a crypto-powered trading platform, building since 2018, with teams across 10 countries. We give traders one account to reach global markets around the clock: crypto, stocks, indices, forex, commodities and pre-IPO. What you'll do Build, backtest and validate quantitative models for pricing, hedging and risk across multiple asset classes. Improve pricing and risk systems so they hold up across 24/7 markets and fast-moving conditions. Translate findings into clear recommendations for risk, dealing and product stakeholders. Monitor live model behaviour, investigate anomalies and tune parameters as market regimes change. Document methodology and assumptions so models are auditable and reproducible by the team. What success looks like in your first six months You have shipped or meaningfully improved at least one production model or risk metric that the desk relies on. You can independently pull, clean and analyse market datasets and present conclusions the team trusts. You have a clear map of our pricing and risk stack and have identified concrete areas to strengthen. Must-have Strong quantitative background in a field such as statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or financial engineering. Solid Python and proficiency with data analysis libraries for working with large datasets. Working knowledge of probability, statistics and financial modelling concepts. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-quant stakeholders. Nice-to-have Experience with derivatives pricing, market microstructure or risk modelling. Familiarity with crypto markets or other 24/7 trading environments. Experience taking models from research into a production system.
