Job Description
Join our Card PXT Finance team for an exciting opportunity to drive key initiatives, provide strategic financial analysis & reporting, oversee and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, and be a trusted advisor to Business leaders. Our team is responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. As a Senior Associate in Card Finance Analytics, you will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement. You will also help develop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed.
- Job responsibilities
- + Manage annual/continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rational and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting, conducting reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature + 4+ years of work experience in Financial with a background in Finance, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Controller background + Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint + Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders + Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets; strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely + Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions + Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management and proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information + Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines; self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills + Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams •Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills•+ Experience in Product or Technology Finance •Additional Information•+ To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
