We're working with a publicly traded client in Atlanta that has an exciting Manager-level opportunity for a high-potential candidate ready to grow within the organization. The client is open to candidates coming directly from public accounting (with public company exposure) as well as those already in industry. Responsibilities:
Prepare the SEC filings, including the10-K,10-Q, 8-K, Proxy, and S-8s. Perform accounting for equity transactions, stock-based compensation arrangements, debt transactions, investment transactions, acquisition and divestiture transactions, annual impairment and ad-hoc testing of goodwill. Assist with month end close and prepare information to support budgets and forecasts. Maintain support for all publicly filed financial statements and disclosures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Public accounting experience CPA Publicly traded company experience (either within public accounting or industry) Strong SEC experience and exposure Ability to meet deadlines Naturally driven Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
