No Job Description We're looking for Cash Applications Specialists who are excited to support the financial operations of our organization through accurate payment processing, account reconciliation, and exceptional customer service. In this role, you'll help ensure patient and insurance payments are posted accurately, maintain organized financial records, and assist with balancing and reporting activities that support the overall revenue cycle process. Key Responsibilities Perform receptionist duties and assist patients with hospital and medical service payments Process and balance daily cash transactions and funds Accurately post manual and electronic revenue transactions, including payments, adjustments, and denials, into the EMR or billing system Reconcile posted transactions against batch totals and supporting documentation such as EOBs, ERAs, and lockbox files Research and resolve unidentified receipts daily Balance the cash drawer daily and ensure all physical funds match system reports Prepare daily bank deposits and act as bank messenger when needed Assist with journal entries, simple reports, and month-end close processes Maintain detailed logs of daily receipts and contractual postings for financial audits Perform other duties as assigned Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with Patient Accounting, Accounting, and other departments to support accurate financial operations and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
