This regional position requires travel between branch locations. As a Financial Service Associate, responsible for providing a variety of high quality, timely, and accurate member experiences with a focus on sales and capturing the member's account business. Ensure members are professionally served and strive to understand their individual needs to best assist with inquiries, concerns, and account maintenance with the goal of improving members financial fitness. Performs additional branch duties and possesses the knowledge, skills, and ability to handle new accounts and introductory loan processing. Key Responsibilities Process member transactions efficiently and accurately. Research and provide solutions to member issues. Open new accounts and evaluate account requests. Assist with basic loan processing. Provide financial guidance and recommend relevant products or services. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Build relationships with members and contribute to the credit union's growth. Travel between branch locations as needed. Perform additional duties as needed. Work Schedule & Benefits Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday (8:30 AM
  • 7:00 PM), Saturday (9:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM).
Closed Sundays. Rotating Saturday schedule. Closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Open most holidays (double pay for worked holidays). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assume responsibility for the efficient and accurate performance of front-line operation and account functions including transaction processing and new account services to members. 2. Actively identify and successfully cross sell products and services that contribute to the financial well-being of members. 3. Accurately prepare and open new consumer accounts, identify and collect required documents needed for each account type opening, and onboard the new member with a suite of products. 4. Process account and loan applications in accordance with credit union policies including performing all required and regulatory verifications. 5. Assist members with a variety of account requests, resolutions, and inquiries including, but not limited to, adding or removing owners, account changes, and service set ups. 6. Able to open and close sub accounts, including certificates, money markets, clubs and SHIP accounts, and explain the account features and benefits to members. 7. Open and explain features of tax advantaged accounts such as IRAs and HSAs. 8. Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform introductory loan functions such as keying loan applications and discuss general rate and term information with members. 9. Assist with balancing, posting, troubleshooting, and auditing of ATMs, ITMs, and cash recyclers. 10. Maintain knowledge of the payroll process for direct deposit and payroll deductions. 11. Demonstrate and maintain the ability to independently locate and utilize available resources when resolving common member issues. 12. Refer non-standard transactions or issues to the supervisor for assistance. 13. Respond to changes in organizational needs in a positive manner, while performing all other tasks as needed.
