Overview Join our dynamic team as a Financial Sales Representative and become a vital part of empowering clients to achieve their financial goals. In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in financial services and sales to build lasting relationships, educate clients on mortgage and loan options, and guide them through the loan origination process. Your proactive approach will help clients navigate complex financial products while ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing laws. Duties Engage with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and present suitable loan or mortgage solutions. Conduct credit analysis, evaluate financial documents, and perform underwriting to determine loan eligibility. Utilize financial software such as Quicken and other banking tools to process applications, update records, and manage loan pipelines efficiently. Negotiate terms with clients, ensuring clarity on contracts, escrow procedures, and mortgage servicing details while adhering to FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines. Assist clients through the entire loan origination process, including documentation review, loan processing, and compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, explaining complex financial concepts clearly, and maintaining ongoing communication throughout the lending process. Maintain accurate records using 10-key typing skills, basic math proficiency, and accounting software to ensure seamless loan processing and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in financial sales or mortgage-related roles such as loan officer or loan processor. Strong negotiation skills combined with a thorough understanding of FNMA standards and mortgage servicing procedures. Familiarity with financial software including Quicken, banking systems, escrow management tools, and accounting applications. Knowledge of underwriting processes, credit analysis techniques, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing laws. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain complex contracts clearly and professionally. Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency for accurate data entry and calculations. Ability to analyze credit reports, evaluate financial documents, and perform detailed credit analysis efficiently.
