Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager will primarily focus will on driving sales and marketing efforts of PMA investment products and services targeted at Pennsylvania local government clients and prospects. This role emphasizes expanding the client base while collaborating with Institutional Investment Specialists to manage investment portfolios tailored to municipalities' needs, oversees client relationships, the productions of cash flow process, and bond proceeds management services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and secure new accounts throughout Pennsylvania. Assist in the development and execution of the PSDLAF sales and marketing plan. Achieve targeted growth of 20% in the PSDLAF fund's total balance. Maintain and enhance client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Oversee the cash flow analysis process and provide guidance related to bond proceeds management services. Comply with in-office presence requirements and attend in-person client meetings and events across Pennsylvania. Collaborate with Institutional Investment Specialists to deliver appropriate investment portfolio solutions for municipal clients. Advise clients by providing economic and investment market insights to support their financial objectives. Present PTMA products and services to Boards and Finance Committees of Pennsylvania school districts. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven track record in sales and relationship management, an understanding of municipal finance a plus. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and consistently go the extra mile to meet client needs. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. Strong ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively amidst competing deadlines. Proven ability to perform well under pressure, maintaining focus and delivering Ability to take initiative and willingness to go the extra mile for our clients Attention to detail Ability to prioritize work with many conflicting deadlines Ability to work well under pressure Ability to collaborate and problem solve with both technology and business team members. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) degree from four-year college or university; five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Regulatory Licensures:
Series 7, 63, & 50. Preferred experience in Investment Management (Broker-Dealer-Advisor)
Environment Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time. Lift up to 15 lbs. The pay range for this role is: 60,000 - 75,000 USD per year(Pennsylvania)
