Customer Service Representative - Financial Services TEKsystems $24.13 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, South Carolina, Fort Mill Aug 12, 2026
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support financial services clients and deliver an exceptional service experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from Financial Advisors, their assistants, and internal service partners while delivering world-class customer service.
- Support annuity application processing and resolve issues related to annuity purchases, transfers, and corrections.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding annuity products, policies, procedures, and system functionality.
- Process annuity transactions through the organization's annuity order entry platform.
- Research and resolve inquiries while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Escalate complex issues as appropriate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of annuity products and be able to explain key features, benefits, and differences among available offerings.
- Follow established schedules and adhere to customer service center operating hours.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address escalations and adapt to operational, procedural, and compliance-related changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience for a financial services company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate and work well within a team.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $24.13 - $24.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
