Job Description

The work location for this position is flexible. We have branches in Maury, Lawrence, Giles, Hickman, Marshall, Williamson, Davidson, and Hamilton Counties in Tennessee. The work location for this position can be based out of a branch within an area we serve .
Role:
The Relationship Manager Assistant (RMA) will function as a blend of loan coordinator, pipeline manager and administrative support. The RMA will assist the Business Banking team and Retail Lenders in their daily duties including; inputting loan requests and renewals into the LOS/Abrigo, to help prepare memos and provide service related to existing and proposed loan requests, to obtain and coordinate loan documents, work with outside service providers to arrange loan closings, providing high level customer service support, track loan maturities, covenant tests and renewals, and performing special projects and other duties as directed by management.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 35% Assists Relationship Managers with preparing package for underwriting by gathering and tracking necessary documentation related to financial package, input loan requests into the LOS, coordinate third party reports and loan closings, work with title companies and closing attorneys and post-closing compliance. E 20% Assists and works with RMs and Treasury Management team with all aspects of client deposit accounts, deposit account maintenance and compliance. E 20% Portfolio maintenance: renewals, covenants, compliance, insurance, past dues, pipeline reviews, loan compliance. E 15% Support day to day client servicing needs. E 3% May on occasion call on business clients/prospects in partnership with the Relationship Managers to support business relationships. E 2% Coordinate RM networking activities. N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

1. To comply with the letter and with the spirit of the bank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. 2. To maintain the confidentiality of customer and any other sensitive information. 3. To be punctual and have regular attendance. 4. To ensure that the department provides friendly, professional, timely, and personal service to all customers. 5. To ensure that all lending activity is within established policies and regulations. 6. To keep management informed regarding key operational issues affecting the department. 7. To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity. 8. To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through on the job training or apprenticeship.. Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Other Skills Business Banking and Retail loan documentation skills including understanding of certain documents used in loan transactions. Proficiency with the bank's loan processing software. Familiarity with Abrigo and FIS a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Physical Requirements The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to interact with associates or clients and access office machinery and file cabinets. The person in the position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and printer. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to branches and other locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines.
