Texas Capital Bank is seeking an Executive Director (ED) for Investment Banking specializing in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector. This role involves originating, structuring, and executing transactions for clients, contributing significantly to revenue growth and client relationship management within the firm's investment banking group.
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and cultivate new and existing client relationships within the Aerospace & Defense industry. Conduct in-depth industry research, market analysis, and financial modeling to support client engagements and transaction execution. Develop compelling client presentations, pitch books, and confidential information memoranda. Manage deal teams, including analysts and associates, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. Negotiate transaction terms and conditions with clients, counterparties, and legal counsel. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction lifecycle. Collaborate effectively with internal product groups, credit teams, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Represent Texas Capital Bank at industry conferences, events, and client meetings to enhance market presence and thought leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment banking, with a significant focus on the Aerospace & Defense sector. Extensive network of relationships with senior executives and financial sponsors in the A&D industry. Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing and mentoring junior banking professionals. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with demanding deadlines. FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses are required. Series 24 preferred. The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
