Member Service Representative

Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Member Service Representative to efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls concerning Member inquiries related to Insurance Benefits and Coverage, billing statements, and assisting with other Member concerns and questions. Key Responsibilities Receives a high volume of inbound calls to address Member inquiries related to Insurance Benefits and Coverage and billing statements. Addresses Members' complaints and works to resolve concerns. Assists Members with finding healthcare and providers that are in network for their plan. Answers questions on premium amounts including the medicare unit, provider assistant unit, and remittance unit. Assists Members with Website navigation questions and troubleshooting. Qualifications 1 Year of Call Center Experience required. Strong Customer Service Skills. Computer Proficient, ability to use multiple systems at once. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Quiet Dedicated Workspace. Healthcare Experience preferred. Skills Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in computer use, ability to manage multiple systems concurrently. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
