Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AML Analyst for a contract opportunity in Bridgewater, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience and a strong understanding of financial crime compliance, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity investigations. This role requires the ability to analyze customer activity, identify potential risks, and support regulatory compliance efforts in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesReview and investigate transaction monitoring alerts for potential suspicious activity.

Conduct AML and financial crime investigations, gathering and analyzing customer and transactional data.

Perform due diligence reviews and support Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

Escalate suspicious activity findings and assist with Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) preparation.

Identify and assess potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud risks.

Maintain accurate case documentation and investigation records.

Ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with compliance, risk, and business teams to resolve investigations and mitigate risks.

Assist with periodic reviews, audits, and remediation projects as needed.
