Job Description
Bakersfield, CA | Full-Time, Temp-to-hire | Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Exact Staff is seeking for a reliable and motivated Electronics Claims Processor to join a fast-paced Medical Family Practice Organization in Bakersfield, CA. If you are looking for steady full-time work, weekly pay, and an opportunity to grow with a strong team, we want to hear from you. This position is ideal for individuals with strong knowledge of billing practices for Medicare and Commercial Insurance Providers, along with hands-on experience in patient account management, processing electronic medical claims.
What You'll Be Doing:
Process electronic claims submissions in a timely and accurate manner Review claims for errors and ensure compliance with payer requirements Follow up on rejections, denials, and unpaid claims Communicate with payers to resolve billing issues Maintain accurate documentation and records of claims activity Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve patient billing inquiries
Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of experience in patient accounts Experience with Medicare and commercial physician billing required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of medical billing software and claim submission platforms
