Lien Negotiator - Personal Injury Position Overview We are a fast-paced personal injury law firm seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Lien Negotiator to join our growing team. This role is critical in maximizing client recoveries by negotiating and resolving medical liens and balances. Your work will directly impact client outcomes, making this a highly valued position within the firm. The ideal candidate has prior experience in lien negotiations and thrives in a collaborative, paperless environment. Key Responsibilities Negotiate reductions on medical liens with healthcare providers and third-party payers Review case files to identify and verify all outstanding liens and expenses Prepare accurate and clear client disbursement statements Compile and reconcile medical bills, legal costs, and settlement figures Create detailed disbursement spreadsheets outlining fees, costs, and net client recovery Coordinate and process payments to medical providers and lienholders Communicate effectively with providers, clients, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies Qualifications Prior experience in lien negotiations preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and case management systems (QuickBooks a plus) Strong negotiation skills and confidence in reducing balances Tech-savvy with experience in paperless environments Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives Referral fee opportunities Annual discretionary bonus Clear path for growth and advancement Collaborative, team-focused work environment Firm-sponsored events and community involvement Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision , Life Insurance 401(k) PTO and paid sick time
