Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Infusion Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our infusion therapy services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management, with a strong background in patient care, insurance verification and authorization, medical records and front-office duties. As an integral part of our healthcare team, the Infusion Center Coordinator will ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered infusion treatments while maintaining adherence to health regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. 2. Obtain prior authorizations for infusion therapies and other medical services. 3. Coordinate infusion scheduling with patients, providers, and infusion centers. 4. Submit and follow up on insurance claims. 5. Research, appeal, and resolve insurance denials. 6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. 7. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients. 8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or a related healthcare administrative role. 2. Experience coordinating infusion services is preferred. 3. Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. 4. Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. 5. Proven ability to manage insurance denials and appeals. 6. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 7. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and medical billing software. Preferred Skills 1. Knowledge of specialty medications and infusion therapies. 2. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient service.
