Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a Warranty Associate to join our team located in Davie, FL! The Warranty Associate will play a key role in managing warranty claims, coordinating outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting cross-functional teams to resolve product-related issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn about our products and testing procedures to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately review and process warranty claims in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate outbound shipments of replacement parts to customers. Arrange outbound shipments of returned parts to manufacturing plants for evaluation or repair. Maintain organized and up-to-date logs, reports, and documentation related to warranty claims and part movement. Track and report warranty-related costs to support budgeting and cost control efforts. Participate in training sessions to gain in-depth knowledge of product functions, components, and usage. Apply product knowledge to interpret customer complaints and assess claims effectively. Develop familiarity with internal testing procedures and utilize results to support informed claim decisions. Communicate product failures and quality concerns to the Engineering team and/or Quality Manager. Prepare inspection summaries for returned or reported products as needed. Use Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, accurate and timely data entry, etc.) for data analysis, tracking, and reporting. Support continuous improvement efforts in the warranty process, including updating documentation, improving workflows, and collaborating across teams. Work closely with Customer Service, Quality, and Engineering departments to resolve warranty issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in warranty, customer service, or operations roles is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to learn technical product information and testing protocols. Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ERP or warranty management systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
