Overview:
The Claims Analyst partners with internal colleagues, external customers, vendors, and other parties to address and resolve account reconciliation issues
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain positive business relationships both internally and externally to promote company goals Research claims to determine appropriate action for claim resolution based on warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc. Research chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolution Assist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of orders Process all claims with attention given to each request in a timely manner Serve as a liaison for dealers and sales force for determining a resolution and following up on pending claims Work with Quality Control on defect resolution Schedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier, or warehouses Correspond with carrier and dealers regarding damaged or lost freight claims
Qualifications:
3-5 years of carpet claims experience preferred Knowledge of the carpet manufacturing process preferred High school diploma or GED equivalency Knowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to claim resolution Proficient and accuracy with computers, AS400 system, Word, and Excel Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and time management skills Ability to work under minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills
