Position Overview:
The Recovery Specialist works closely with business owners in the commercial trucking industry and is responsible for identifying and recovering subrogation claims payments on behalf of our carriers and insured customers.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

Investigation and Research:
Thoroughly investigate incoming claims to uncover potential third-party liability, ensuring no recovery opportunity goes unnoticed.

Creative Pursuit:
Utilize innovative approaches and persistence to pursue recovery opportunities while adhering to established guidelines.
•
Accurate Demand Packets:
Prepare demand packets with precision, ensuring precise calculation of incurred costs.
•
Strategic Recovery Plans:
Develop and communicate strategic recovery plans to efficiently recover the costs incurred.
•
Negotiation Expertise:
Engage with responsible parties, their carriers, and legal representatives to secure successful subrogation recoveries.
•
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal team members to ensure accurate input of all claims information into the claim system, enabling streamlined processes.
•
Additional Duties:
As an integral member of our team, you may be assigned additional responsibilities from time to time.
Job Requirements:

Collections Proficiency:
Proven track record in collections, with a deep understanding of effective debt recovery techniques.

Sharp investigative skills, capable of uncovering crucial details that contribute to successful recoveries.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, allowing you to interact confidently with various parties involved in the recovery process.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of demand packets and strategic recovery plans, with precise documentation of the entire process.

Able to adapt swiftly to dynamic situations, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize recovery success.

A collaborative team player who can work effectively with internal colleagues as well as external departments and personnel.
•
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the commercial trucking industry and related claim processes is advantageous.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates preferred Commercial Trucking experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong customer service skills Extremely well-organized and able to prioritize in a high-interruption environment Ability to work effectively with others, as well as independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Ten Four Truck Insurance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
