Claims Processor Job Responsibilities:
Review claims to determine what additional information or documentation is needed
Request medical, psychological, employment, and other records through phone, email, mail, and fax
Track outstanding requests and follow up to help ensure timely completion
Schedule and coordinate medical or psychological exams, including communicating appointment details and required paperwork
Prepare and process documents, forms, correspondence, and supporting materials
Update computer systems with claim information, notes, status changes, and appointment details
Communicate with internal teams, external contacts, and individuals regarding claim-related questions and updates
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is organized and complete
Assist with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Previous experience in office, clerical, administrative support, customer service, or similar roles preferred
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable making phone calls and communicating professionally with a variety of contacts
Ability to organize information, manage multiple tasks, and follow established procedures
