We are a dynamic and fast-growing organization seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Biller/Payment Poster to join our revenue cycle management team at our Burnsville, MN location. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our billing and payment processes.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience in payment posting, billing accounts receivable (AR) work, insurance verification, and patient statement management. Proficiency in Athena and AdvancedMD is preferred. This is an in-office role, providing the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system.
• Reconcile daily deposits and payments to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims and balances to ensure timely resolution.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients to ensure claims are submitted accurately.
• Generate, review, and process patient statements for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with the billing team to research and resolve discrepancies or denials.
• Maintain detailed records of payment activity, insurance verifications, and patient statements.
• Provide support for patients with billing inquiries related to their statements.
• Stay updated on payer policies and billing regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payment posting, billing AR, insurance verification, and patient statement management.
• Proficiency in Athena and/or AdvancedMD is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and statement processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to assist patients with billing inquiries.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
