We specialize in commercial and residential disaster restoration projects from fire and water damage to mold remediation. We are a growing family-run company for over 30 years local to the Gallatin Valley.
Job Summary:
The Claims Processor will work with the Construction Manager, Claims Manager, Project Managers, Insurance Adjusters, Homeowner's, and other Claims Processors to gather information and present estimates for the reconstruction and mitigation restoration services we provide. This position is responsible for building relationships with insurance professionals and utilizing those relationships to get our clients back into their homes after traumatic events such as a fire or flood. This position will also work closely with several internal departments to produce estimates that meet the operational objectives of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:
Utilizing Xactimate platform to create Reconstruction and Mitigation estimates Audit CRM platform for accuracy on a regular basis Accept and complete miscellaneous projects as needed Frequently engaging with customers both by phone and through email communication. Working closely with the claims manager - monitoring jobs in progress and providing status updates Daily updating notes in DASH file so all projects are up to date on the day. Gathering information from multiple internal and external sources. Negotiating with Insurance Adjusters (payment terms as well) Meet operational objectives of: Sales, Gross Profit and Brand Experience Clearly communicate expectations with Project Manager and the Adjuster Create contracts for Project Managers once approved by Insurance or Client Participate in local community events Consistently monitor and maintain internal relationships to help improve performance of the team Provide feedback to Claims Manager Provide timely processing of claims. Prepare documents and other paperwork relating to claims. Assist in payment collections as directed by accounting Respond to inquiries and resolve pertaining to specific claim issues. Assist staff in processing complicated claims. Bring to notice special policy matters to the attention of the management Responsibilities may be amended, added, or deleted as needed Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education): Highschool degree or equivalent working experience Strong communication skills Well-organized, self-motivated, innovative, accurate, collaborative, and analytical Possess advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint Must meet the company's insurability requirements for driving Must participate in pre-employment screens (background).
Competencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
