Highly skilled, fellowship trained, and board-certified providers help our patients achieve an improved quality of life through individualized care. With a comprehensive approach and the most advanced minimally invasive treatments, our providers treat all types of acute or chronic pain, effectively and safely. We are seeking a prior authorization & eligibility specialist for our pain management group to join our team in Cranford, New Jersey. As a prior authorization & eligibility specialist, some of your job duties will include: Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits for medical services, procedures, and medications. Obtaining prior authorizations and pre-certifications from insurance companies for scheduled treatments and procedures. Reviewing insurance requirements to ensure compliance with payer guidelines and policies. Communicating with physicians, clinical staff, and patients regarding authorization status and insurance coverage. High School Degree 2+ Years Experience (pain management and/or orthopedics experience a plus) Insurance verification Prior authorization processing Medical terminology knowledge EMR/EHR proficiency Attention to detail Communication and customer service Time management Knowledge ofCPT/ICD-10
