Job Description

The Property Damage Rep II is responsible for appropriately handling, settling, and closing property damage (automobile) claims that are deemed a total loss by bringing a prompt and amicable resolution. This includes verifying coverage, opening claims, contacting first and third-party claimants, salvage facilities, and other parties involved, and investigating, negotiating, and settling claims based on company guidelines and applicable law.

Monday-Friday 8:45am-5:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conclude all claims with an assigned probable or obvious total loss MOI with appropriate closing documents and reports signifying resolution in a timely manner. Conduct ongoing review of all assigned files focusing on required investigation, application of coverage endorsements and necessary documentation. Will keep the supervisor informed on claims' progress as needed. Initiate appropriate action to conclude all claims in a manner consistent with existing law and multi-state regulations, utilizing company guidelines. Investigate, review, analyze, and evaluate losses of greater complexity expeditiously in preparation for a prompt resolution, utilizing strong negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications:
At least one year of property damage claims experience Requires strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to deliver a high-quality customer service experience while showing empathy and kindness to customers in need. Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Technical aptitude, including a working knowledge with Microsoft Office. Mathematical and analytical acumen required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time effectively. Ability to think critically, use resources and seek answers. Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is a plus. Bilingual is a plus. CT license is a plus.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
Pay Range:
$61,256-$77,255 Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave. Employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
