Summary :
This is a full-time position. The Workers' Compensation Claims Coordinator is an entry level position primarily responsible for the intake and processing of claims reports from clients to carrier as well as data entry and report creation. This is a client facing position which requires excellent communicative and collaborative skills. Knowledge of the workers' compensation rules regulations, laws, and procedures are not a pre-requisite for employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients regarding new and existing claims. Complete carrier First Report of Injury based on clients' report of claims. Serve as point of contact and intermediary between client, carrier, claimant, medical provider. Data entry into both carrier first report of injury platform and local database Work in Microsoft excel to create meaningful and presentable claims trending reports using client claims data. Support and collaborate with existing claims team. Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of remainder of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Excellent written and verbal communications skills Self-Starter with Ability to multitask, follow-up, and work within a deadline. Must be able to learn and work within a team structure Education and/or
Experience:
1-2 years of client-facing or customer service experience is preferred. Must have high school diploma or equivalency.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $52,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
