Job Description

System One is hiring an Insurance Follow-Up Representative for a respected healthcare organization in Tulsa. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with medical billing experience who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues.
Pay:
$18-$20/hour
What You'll Do:
Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid or delayed claims Research claim issues and work toward timely resolution Submit appeals and additional documentation when needed Monitor denied claims and assist with recovery efforts Review account balances and prioritize outstanding receivables Maintain accurate records of follow-up activity and claim status Provide occasional support to the authorization team
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of insurance follow-up or medical billing experience Experience working insurance denials and appeals Familiarity with payer portals and claim status research Strong computer and data entry skills Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
