TITLE INSURANCE PROCESSOR / SETTLEMENT CLERK
Jenkintown, Pa Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Insurance Processor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing title files from contract through closing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities - 2 plus years as a processor or settlement clerk necessary. Open and manage title files from receipt through settlement Order and review title searches, tax certifications, municipal lien letters, and other required documentation Examine title commitments and identify title issues requiring resolution Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and underwriters Prepare title commitments, closing packages, and settlement documents Ensure all conditions and requirements are satisfied prior to closing Verify payoff statements, taxes, and outstanding liens Schedule settlements and communicate closing details with all parties Maintain accurate file records and compliance with underwriter guidelines Assist settlement officers and post-closing staff as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications Previous title insurance, real estate, mortgage, or settlement experience preferred Strong understanding of title commitments, title insurance, and closing procedures Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and title production software Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
