Job Description:
Title Processor Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Title Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from opening to closing. The ideal candidate is proactive, deadline-driven, and experienced in handling title documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Open, review, and process title orders from intake through closing Examine title searches and identify any liens, encumbrances, or issues requiring resolution Prepare and manage closing documentation, including commitments, policies, and settlement statements Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, and clients to ensure smooth transaction flow Clear title issues by obtaining required documentation, releases, or approvals Ensure all files comply with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and state regulations Maintain accurate file records and update transaction status in the system Schedule and prepare files for closing and confirm all requirements are met prior to settlement Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the transaction process Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in title processing, title insurance, or real estate transactions preferred Strong understanding of title insurance concepts, real estate closing procedures, and settlement workflows High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with title production software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills Experience with residential and/or commercial closings Knowledge of state-specific title regulations (PA/NJ preferred if applicable) Problem-solving mindset with ability to resolve title defects efficiently Strong teamwork and client service orientation What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced real estate/title environment Supportive and collaborative team culture Exposure to a high volume of diverse real estate transactions
