6/10/2026 Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Verify and review third party insurance referrals through phone and online resources Review claims paid by Medicaid for filing to a third party insurance carrier Review correspondence to determine the status of the filed claims Make phone calls or use online resources for insurance carriers and providers to determine status of the filed claims Review payments received and verify that they are credited correctly to cases and debts Prepare documents and claims for mail Conducts research to analyze facts, and apply knowledge of the Office of Recovery Services rules, regulations, and policies Ability to interpret, clarify, explain and apply agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: Familiar with office setting Basic computer skills, familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing Good customer service skills Good communication skills; verbal and written Teachability•must take direction and recall information Ability to stay focused while working in a fast paced work environment Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing Strong communication skills Takes direction as well as initiative Familiar with medical insurance practices About the Role Location•4315 S 2700 W Taylorsville, UT, 84129 United States Background Check Required•Yes Drug Test Required•No Schedule Code•B•Competitive Career Service Why You Should Join Our Team In Utah, we believe hard work is important, but balance is essential.
