Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven Medical A/R Representative to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our revenue cycle, specializing in claim follow-up for both in-network and out-of-network anesthesia claims . If you understand the nuances of anesthesia billing, love solving the puzzle of denied claims, and thrive in a high-energy, non-patient-facing environment, we want to hear from you!
Position Type:
Full-Time, Hourly (Overtime available)
Location:
In-Office (No routine remote work)
Target Audience:
Individual applicants only ( No billing companies, please ).
Key Responsibilities Claim Follow-Up:
Proactively track and resolve outstanding in-network and out-of-network anesthesia claims.
Appeals & Disputes:
Draft, submit, and track appeals; work directly with commercial and government payers to ensure claims are processed according to contract.
Payer Portal Navigation:
Efficiently utilize various insurance claim portals to verify status, retrieve EOBs, and submit corrections.
Account Resolution:
Identify root causes of denials and implement solutions to prevent recurring payment delays.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
3+ years of experience in medical collections/accounts receivable. Anesthesia billing experience is a major plus!
Payer Knowledge:
Strong understanding of commercial and government insurance guidelines, particularly regarding out-of-network claim negotiations and appeals.
Software Savvy:
High comfort level navigating various insurance portals. Experience with ADS Medics Premier is a major plus (but not required).
