Position Summary
In this role, you will review, verify, and process incoming insurance-related documentation while providing essential support across all areas of the Insurance Operations team. Your work will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing across critical business functions.
What You'll Do Process and distribute correspondence to the appropriate teams within Claims and Underwriting
Index and organize documents received electronically, as well as scanned materials
Follow established unit and company policies to complete tasks accurately and efficiently within deadlines
Process Merit Rating Board Hearing Lists and fulfill claim print requests
Perform a variety of data entry tasks and provide general clerical support
Review independent vendor bills for accuracy prior to Accounts Payable processing
Prepare, print, and distribute a range of materials, including: Letters and brochures
Certified mail and agency correspondence
Partner Select forms and manual checks Transcribe interviews, E-letters, memos, reports, and form letters
Process Auto Injury Solutions No Match/Exception reports and update the medical bill log
Provide prompt, professional assistance to lobby visitors and address inquiries independently What You Bring Strong organizational and prioritization skills with excellent attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong PC skills for record keeping and research
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with office equipment (scanners, photocopiers, etc.) and online vendor tools
Basic math skills and comfort handling numeric data Nice to

Working knowledge of automated inventory systems
Experience with alphanumeric cataloging and basic purchase order creation Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay Philosophy:
The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
