Insurance Specialist NOTE:
This position is NOT remote and will be required to be on site full-timeRESPONSIBILITIES
Work with customers and their insurance companies to manage the insurance claims process and work to collect financial settlements within 14 days from the claim date. Reviewing and following up on all accounts daily, filing Gap claims within 3 days of Letter of Guarantee approvals, and continuing collections attempts at a 90% quality level will contribute to success in this role.Essential Functions:
- Work with Insurance companies regarding Total Loss claims
- Basic knowledge of Total Loss and Gap claims processes and procedures
- Work with customers and their insurance companies to manage the insurance claims process.
- Work to collect financial settlements within 14 days from the claim date.
- Reviewing and following up on all accounts daily, filing Gap claims within 3 days of Letter of Guarantee approvals, and continuing collections attempts at a 90% quality level will contribute to success in this role.
Other Functions:
- Assist with special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with Insurance companies regarding Total Loss claims
- Experience within auto finance industry preferred
- High school diploma required
- 1 year of Total Loss related experience and/or training
- Basic knowledge of Total Loss and Gap claims processes and procedures Working Conditions
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Ability to be consistently punctual.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
