Duties Manage appointment scheduling, calendar coordination, and internal communication to optimize workflow. Perform accurate data entry into electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health information regulations. Handle phone communication with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and third-party billing agencies with professionalism and clarity. Assist with health insurance verification, claims processing, and revenue cycle management to support the organization's financial health. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining medical procedures, and facilitating smooth client interactions. Support insurance third-party billing processes by preparing documentation, submitting claims, and following up on reimbursements. Maintain organized records of medical documentation, billing information, and internal correspondence to ensure easy retrieval and compliance. Requirements Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation, data management, and communication. Strong understanding of managed care processes, health insurance policies, and revenue cycle management. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and medical terminology for accurate documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal communication and client interaction. Ability to perform data entry accurately with high typing speed and attention to detail. Experience in schedule management to coordinate appointments efficiently in a busy healthcare environment. Knowledge of insurance third-party billing procedures to facilitate claims processing and reimbursements.
