Prior Authorization & Appeal Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent professional to collaborate effectively with the ambulatory clinic team and patients in processing prior authorizations for imaging, testing, and retail medications at Mt. Ascutney Ambulatory Clinics. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of insurance plans, testing procedures, and medication protocols. This role necessitates the ability to clinically correlate a patient's medical conditions or diagnoses within their medical chart, enabling successful authorization acquisition and the presentation of appeals in cases of denial.
