As a Claims Agent, you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and collection of car rental claims. The successful candidate will excel at dealing with customer conversations regarding damages that have occurred to their rental vehicle, have well-developed communication skills, good judgment and problem-solving abilities.Key Responsibilities:
Complete the investigation and determine if a package assigned by the Claims Manager will be a claim or deferred damage. Set up and manage claim files and/or deferred packages. Report claims to the proper authorities (i.e. third-party claims administrator (TPA), insurance companies, liability carriers). Call customers and/or third parties to obtain insurance/payment information and send appropriate inquiries or acknowledgment correspondence. Place vehicles for repair requiring follow up to be sure repairs are being completed timely. Process invoices for current claims and sale/auction units. Knowledgeable in State, Federal and Case Laws as well as insurance practices to be able to make a case for losses. Claims administrative duties such as processing payment plans & TPA follow ups.Compensation & Benefits:

Ability to deal with problematic situations in a professional manner. Commitment to excellent customer service. Must be able to perform data entry and computer entry tasks. Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous customer service collections or insurance claims experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Must be at least 18 years of age.
