Job Description

Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Position is open to in office, hybrid or remote.

•REMOTE qualified candidate must have California P&C Licenes and reside in pacific time zone.

•We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our growing commercial lines team. This role is responsible for managing client accounts, coordinating with producers and carrier partners, and ensuring accurate and timely servicing of commercial insurance policies. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate policy records, endorsements, and account details within agency management systems Serve as a key point of contact for clients, producers, and carrier underwriters regarding coverage, policy changes, and renewals Manage the full marketing and quoting process for new business and renewal accounts Gather, organize, and analyze account information to support renewal strategy and placement Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with clients and carrier representatives Support retention efforts by delivering responsive, high-quality client service Qualifications & Experience Active Property & Casualty insurance license required Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial lines role within an independent agency or retail brokerage Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages and rating methodologies Experience working directly with multiple insurance carriers and underwriters Proficiency with online rating platforms and carrier portals Experience with agency management systems such as Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Legally authorized to work in the United States Why Join Us Collaborative and professional team environment Opportunity to work with a diverse commercial book of business Stable role with growth potential in a well-established agency Please contact me at (605) 610-3041 to have a conversation about this exciting career advancement opportunity, don't forget to email me your resume to jennifer.thompson@gogpac.com and reference this job in email.
