On W2 With Benefits + Bonus Job Description Job Summary Our client is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients while providing expert guidance on coverage, risk exposure, and insurance needs. This position is designed for an experienced commercial insurance professional who can move beyond traditional account servicing to analyze business risks, identify coverage gaps, solve complex client issues, and provide thoughtful insurance recommendations. The Account Manager will work closely with clients, producers, and other account managers in a collaborative office environment, with opportunities to take greater ownership of client relationships and develop into a trusted risk advisor. Job Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts from end to end. Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted point of contact. Review policies and assess coverage for gaps, limitations, and potential misalignment with client exposures. Evaluate business risks and recommend appropriate coverage and risk-management solutions. Advise clients directly and communicate recommendations clearly through written and verbal communication. Support producers with account strategy, client needs, and insurance-related activities. Analyze complex client scenarios and determine appropriate courses of action. Collaborate with account managers and other team members to develop effective solutions. Maintain accurate account information and stay current with relevant insurance products, coverage concepts, and industry developments. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Required Skills & Qualifications Solid experience in commercial lines insurance and account management. Demonstrated ability to evaluate commercial insurance coverage and business risks. Strong understanding of commercial insurance concepts, policies, and risk exposures. Proven ability to advise clients and explain complex insurance concepts in a clear, practical manner. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively. Comfortable working with insurance management systems and learning new technology. CPCU, CIC, ARM, or another relevant insurance designation completed or in progress. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounts or in any relatable field.
