- Bill Matlock Agency is looking for professional, motivated, and coachable individuals who want to learn, grow, and build a long term career in the insurance industry.
You do not need insurance experience to get started. We are looking for people with the right attitude, strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn . We provide the training, licensing support, systems, coaching, and leads. You bring the commitment and effort to follow the program, develop your skills, and succeed. For someone with ambition and an entrepreneurial mindset, this opportunity can also provide a foundation for significant career growth, including the potential to pursue becoming a Farmers Insurance agent and business owner in the future. Earn While You Learn Your development begins from day one, and so does your pay. From your first day, you will earn a base salary while training and working toward your insurance licenses. During approximately your first two months, getting licensed is priority number one . We provide a structured roadmap that has successfully helped team members prepare for their licensing exams and progress into their roles.
We provide:
Dedicated time to study and prepare for licensing A structured licensing roadmap Training and study resources Coaching and progress support Guidance throughout the licensing process You are paid while you learn and prepare to become licensed. We provide the structure and support. Your responsibility is to show up, follow the program, study, and remain coachable. We Provide the Leads Once you transition into the sales portion of your role, we provide current leads and prospects for you to contact . This is an inside sales position . No door knocking No neighborhood canvassing No purchasing your own leads No building a prospect list from scratch We provide the opportunities so you can focus on developing relationships, understanding customer needs, following up, presenting solutions, and closing business. Training and Development Getting licensed is only the beginning. We continue investing in your development as you grow into the role. You will receive training and coaching on: Insurance products and coverage Software and systems Customer conversations Proven scripts and conversation guides Asking the right questions Presenting insurance solutions Following up effectively Handling common questions and concerns Building confidence and improving your sales skills We help teach you what to say, how to say it, and how to confidently guide customers through the sales process . What You'll Do As you complete your licensing and training, you will gradually transition into your sales responsibilities: Contact agency-provided leads and prospects by phone and video Build relationships and understand customer needs Present appropriate insurance products and coverage options Follow up consistently with prospective customers Manage the sales process from initial conversation through policy placement Maintain accurate customer and sales records Participate in ongoing coaching and professional development Work with the team to provide a positive customer experience Who We're Looking For Experience is a plus, but attitude, professionalism, coachability, and motivation matter most to us .
