Prior Sales Experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable. Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency. Must have ability to multi-task. Problem-Solving Capabilities. Driven and goal-oriented individual. Be equipped with great listening and closing skills. Commitment to excellence, willingness to work hard, and willingness to go the extra mile. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and think outside the box. Responsibilities Meet new business production goals and objectives as established. Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales. Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc. Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products. Be outstanding at relationship building. Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.. Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases. Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone.
