Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Ellie Mills State Farm in Cutler Bay, FL is adding a licensed insurance producer to our sales team. If you already hold your Florida licenses and have real experience quoting and closing business, this role lets you do what you do best from day one — with a base salary, uncapped commission, and a book of opportunity to work. We set clear activity expectations, and we reward results: our strongest producers earn at the top of the posted range and beyond. Responsibilities Quote and write new property & casualty and life policies for prospective customers Round out households by cross-selling life and additional lines to new and current customers Build and work a steady pipeline through outbound calls, follow-ups, and referral relationships Schedule appointments and guide prospects from first contact through closed application Keep activity and pipeline records current and accurate in the agency system Hit weekly and monthly sales production targets Qualifications Active Florida 2-20 General Lines license (required) Active Florida life license — 2-14 or 2-15 (required) Demonstrated success in insurance sales, including quoting, closing, and cross-selling Competitive and self-driven, with a history of meeting or beating sales goals Confident, persuasive communicator with excellent phone skills Disciplined about outreach, follow-up, and pipeline management Positive, coachable, and a strong fit for a team environment Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Clear career advancement paths Company events, contests, and team lunches Pay range: $60,000-$150,000 per year Total compensation combines base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Base salary is set based on your experience, licensing, and prior production history. Commission is performance-based, so where you land in the range — and whether you exceed it — depends on your results. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
