That's why we provide our agents with top-tier back-office support, quote engines, and opportunity with local leads. Position Summary We are seeking an Experienced Health & Life Insurance Agent to spearhead and expand our client base in Twin Falls and the surrounding Magic Valley. This isn't an entry-level position; we are looking for a licensed professional who already understands the nuances of the industry and wants a platform that allows them to scale their income. Whether you specialize in Individual & Family Health, Medicare Advantage/Supplements, or Life & Annuities, you will have the autonomy to manage your book of business while leveraging our agency's strong regional reputation and operational support.
Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Sales:
Conduct comprehensive needs analyses for individuals, families, and seniors in the Twin Falls area to match them with appropriate health, life, and ancillary insurance products.
Lead Execution:
Proactively follow up on agency-provided leads, inbound inquiries, and nurture your own local network and sphere of influence.
Open Enrollment & Medicare:
Maximize production during critical industry windows (AEP, OEP) while maintaining a steady flow of life and ACA business year-round.
Policy Reviews & Retention:
Conduct annual reviews with existing clients to ensure their coverage meets evolving needs, securing long-term renewals and policy retention.
Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to CMS guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and Idaho Department of Insurance standards.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of active, successful sales experience in the health and/or life insurance industry.
Licensing:
Active Idaho Resident Producer License for Life, Accident & Health . (AHIP certification is a massive plus if focusing on Medicare).
Local Market Knowledge:
Deep roots or strong familiarity with the Twin Falls and Magic Valley community.
Carrier Familiarity:
Strong working knowledge of major Idaho carriers (e.g., Blue Cross of Idaho, Regence, SelectHealth, PacificSource) and top-tier life insurance providers.
Self-Motivated:
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding self-imposed or agency sales goals.
