Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Orland Park, IL. The Insurance Agent will consult with current and prospective members to identify coverage needs, recommend appropriate insurance products, and provide personalized quotes. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with customers in person or by phone, handling policy applications and changes, processing renewals, and responding to inquiries about coverage, billing, and claims. The role also involves following up on leads, participating in local marketing and outreach activities, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals while upholding AAA's commitment to member-focused service. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in customer service, relationship building, and client consultation. Experience with insurance sales, cross-selling related products, and meeting performance or sales targets. Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse members and colleagues. Solid organizational, time management, and follow-up skills to manage multiple member requests and policies. Comfort with computer-based systems, CRM tools, and standard office software for quoting and policy management. Ability to learn and apply insurance regulations, underwriting guidelines, and company policies accurately. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant professional certifications are beneficial. Valid state insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one within required timeframe); prior insurance or financial services experience is preferred.
