Your ability to build strong client connections, provide timely support, and ensure accurate policy administration will play a key role in client retention and long-term agency success. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of small business accounts while collaborating closely with producers, carrier partners, and internal teams. You'll support clients throughout the policy lifecycle, helping them secure appropriate coverage, understand insurance solutions, and receive exceptional service at every stage of their relationship with the agency. How You'll Make an Impact Serve as the primary point of contact for a book of small business clients, providing responsive service and building lasting relationships. Manage policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, audits, and service requests while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Educate clients on insurance coverage, exclusions, exposures, and risk management considerations to help them make informed decisions. Partner with producers to prepare proposals, applications, and renewal strategies that align with client objectives. Market and remarket business when appropriate to help ensure clients receive competitive and effective coverage solutions. Coordinate claims reporting, certificates, binders, and policy documentation to support a seamless client experience. Maintain accurate electronic files, agency management system records, and account documentation according to agency standards. Identify cross-selling opportunities and connect clients with additional products and services that meet their evolving needs. What You Bring Day One:
3+ years of Property & Casualty account management experience, or 4+ years of Property & Casualty commercial lines industry experience. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within three months of hire. Strong client service, communication, and relationship management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Valuable Additions:
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Active Property & Casualty Insurance License. CIC, CPCU, MAIA, or similar professional insurance designations. Experience working with agency management systems and insurance technology platforms. Knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, renewals, underwriting, and carrier processes. Experience identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting business growth initiatives.
