What You'll Do As the Insurance Agent, you will have experience in property and casualty insurance to help grow and lead our efforts in our various markets. This position is a professional responsible for selling insurance policies to individuals and businesses to protect them against financial loss. The Insurance Agent will provide expert advice and will act as an advisor, evaluating a client's specific needs, financial status, and risk profile to recommend suitable coverage options, such as life, health, auto, or property insurance. Sell and manage insurance policies to ensure clients have the best coverage; use referrals and leads to find new clients. Develop expertise in products marketed and create proposals for clients to ensure their needs are met. Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals. Prepare insurance proposals, negotiate terms and premiums, and process applications and renewals. Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, assisting with claims inquiries and resolving customer complaints promptly. Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure high retention rates and identify cross-selling or up-selling opportunities. Educate client employees on risk and best practices to minimize exposure while following legal requirements when selling policies. Maintain Office Appearance to present professional atmosphere. Continues learning by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks. Demonstrate patience, humility, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Communicate personably and tactfully with customers of varying technical knowledge levels. Adhere to Aspire Insurance policies, procedures, and best practices. This may not be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities as additional tasks may be required based on the needs of the company. What We're Looking For Active Property & Casualty License ( Required ) Minimum five years' experience in a progressive insurance sales and growth position with commercial sales background. Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients. Personal or commercial insurance experience as an underwriter, producer agent or operations manager. What Success Looks Like This is a growth-focused role.
