Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate thrives on achieving goals, enjoys helping others, and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will promote and sell a wide range of insurance products, build lasting client relationships, and play an integral part in our agency's success. Key Responsibilities Prospect and identify potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and community outreach. Educate clients on available insurance options, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, including metrics such as policy conversions, renewals, and revenue growth. Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referrals. Collaborate closely with underwriters, claims processors, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Stay informed about insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products to provide clients with accurate and relevant information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Proven success in sales , with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools. Prior experience in the insurance industry or financial services preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation Range:
$50,000
  • $350,000 (based on performance)
Health Insurance:
100% paid by the
Client Life Insurance:
Coverage equal to the lesser of annual compensation or $50,000
Long-Term Disability:
60% of salary to age 65
Paid Time Off:
3 weeks combined PTO and sick leave + 10+ holidays (including your birthday) Unused time off is paid out and/or rolls over (up to 1 week) Paid Volunteer Time 401(k)
Contribution:
5% of annual salary (company contribution) Hiring Process Email Interview
  • Initial screening conducted via email. Online Assessment
  • 20-55 minute skills and personality assessment. In-Person Interview
  • Final interview at our Chatham, NY office.
