Job Description

Hauppauge Insurance Firm is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Life & Health Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice on life and health insurance products, helping clients secure the best coverage for their needs. This role offers growth opportunities, including support for obtaining additional qualifications such as the SIE Exam to advance towards a career as a Financial Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate life and health insurance solutions. Clearly explain policy terms, benefits, and conditions to clients. Assist clients through the application and underwriting processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings. Meet or exceed sales objectives to contribute to company growth.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Possession of a valid Life and Health Insurance license, or willingness to obtain. Experience in insurance sales, customer service, or related fields preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex insurance information in an easy-to-understand manner. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. Strong organizational and time management capabilities. Comfortable with prospecting activities including cold calling and lead follow-up. Proficiency with technology, including CRM software and basic computer applications.
